What

There are currently two projects represented by this blog, one being a subsidiary of the other.

The overarching project is a research project: Using MUVEs for Group Research Projects in Undergraduate Music History: Getting at Feasibility and Efficacy.  This research is being conducted under Quality Initiative Grants from Palm Beach Atlantic University.

The secondary project is the actual pilot student group project that takes three forms: a written research project, an interactive scene in a MUVE, and an online machinima of the interactive scene with links to supporting information.  The student members of this team are responsible for creating the three forms and for logging their time and activities for each.  Their work is continually monitored and supervised by the PI of the research project.  The data produced by these students regarding time and resource allocations for each product will be used for the feasibility aspect of the research study.  The student project is tentatively known as “Chopin’s Apartment.”
